About the Role
We're looking for a reliable and experienced Butcher / Butchery Assistant to join our friendly team at Nisa Local West Wellow. If you take pride in your craft, enjoy hands-on work, and thrive in a customer-facing environment, this could be the perfect fit.
Key Responsibilities
Provide friendly, consistent service at the counter Greet and assist customers with professionalism and warmth Maintain high standards of presentation and hygiene Operate butchery equipment (knives, slicer, mincer - age dependent) Cut, prepare, and present meat to a high standard, including sausage making Support team cleaning and sanitation routines in the butchery department
What We're Looking For
Previous butchery experience (advantageous but not essential) Confidence working independently and collaboratively Strong communication skills and attention to detail A friendly, reliable personality with a "can do" attitude Willingness to learn and grow within the butchery trade
Hours/Days:
30 hours per week, one shift will be Sunday & with flexibility to cover holidays,If this sounds like the role for you, please send along with your CV a short note about your experience.
