Job Description

As Butchery/Deli Assistant, you're here to support brilliant guest experiences and help build the overall success and reputation of our Butchery and Deli. This is a mixed role that brings together technical kitchen and prep skills and warmth of service. Key ingredients for success in this role include:

passion for locally sourced goods and delicious fresh food. kitchen skills including appreciation of taste, ingredients and good practice in prep excitement in sharing cookery knowledge with others. strong curiosity to learn and develop understanding of slow-grown artisan foods. competent knife skills.
This is an opportunity for someone building a career in food to develop their butchery skills and understanding of the whole carcass, contribute to recipe development of our convenience ranges across butchery, deli and production.

Whilst initially 3 days per week, there is potential to increase to 5 days in both front of house and kitchen environments, for the right person.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.60-13.60 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25.5 per week
