Based full-time in Dartford

Are you an experienced buyer with a solid background in construction? We're looking for a proactive, detail-driven individual to join this market leader, and help drive purchasing excellence across their projects.

What you'll need

Proven experience in the construction industry Strong background in purchasing and procurement Thorough understanding of procurement processes, policies, and procedures Exceptional multitasking and time management skills Proficient in Excel and confident with IT systems Cool under pressure and quick to solve problems Hands-on experience with Electronic POP systems

What you'll be up to

Continuously developing and refining their procurement systems Sourcing and selecting the best suppliers Raising Purchase Orders via Electronic POP system Working closely with the Accounts Team to resolve queries Processing GRNs (Goods Received Notes) Preparing and analysing weekly and monthly reports Maintaining records of all plant and equipment on hire Keeping supplier contact details up to date Liaising across multiple construction sites Ensuring full compliance with internal policies and procedures Taking on additional ad hoc duties as needed
