Job Description

REP-TEC manufacture recycling equipment including balers, conveyors and some other complimentary equipment. They provide a complete end to end solution for their customers, from initial consultation through design & installation, and aftersales service.

The company has clear and exciting growth plans for the next 5 years and there will be significant opportunities within the business for progression.

REP-TEC are recruiting for a Buyer to process and coordinate all purchase orders in the business. The successful candidate will have responsibility for supplier management, stores management, cost savings, and stock management.

They will also play an integral role in implementing a new MRP system and will be expected to work with the team to develop standard operating procedures to ensure that the supply chain function will be operating efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibility for supplier management, stores management, & cost savings. Ensure the timely and efficient delivery of materials and products to meet production schedules. Negotiate contracts with suppliers. Identify cost-saving opportunities. Manage inventory levels to ensure that stock levels are optimized. Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the supply chain function supports overall business goals.

Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience in a purchasing role Strong negotiation and contract management skills Experience of working with an MRP system would be desirable Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Experience in the manufacturing industry.
