What you'll be doing

As a Buyer, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, value-driven procurement solutions. Your responsibilities will include:


Preparing tenders and quotations for subcontractors, materials, and services Conducting due diligence and commercial checks on suppliers Evaluating tender responses and compiling award recommendations Negotiating contracts that meet quality and efficiency targets Building long-term supplier relationships focused on value, quality, and continuous improvement Monitoring supplier performance and driving development plans Exploring new suppliers and market trends to stay ahead Collaborating across departments to meet HSEQ+S and commercial goals Supporting procurement for work-winning opportunities Driving sustainable procurement and social value initiatives

Who we're looking for

We're seeking someone with:


Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management within construction or a related sector Strong organisational skills and commercial awareness A pragmatic yet disciplined approach to compliance MCIPS or equivalent (preferred) Experience with Oracle R12 (advantageous) Excellent negotiation skills and a track record of delivering value Knowledge of Category Management, SRM, and SPM (desirable)
