Job Overview

We're looking for a

commercially minded Buyer

to join our growing Purchasing Team in Shepshed. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive individual with a passion for procurement, supplier management, and cost control to make a real impact within the business.

Responsibilities:

Managing purchase orders and stock replenishment to meet business needs. Negotiating prices, terms, rebates, and delivery schedules with suppliers. Driving cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality standards. Managing seasonal product ordering and pre-season planning. Building strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners. Supporting product range development, including accessories and add-ons. Assisting with non-stock purchasing and ad-hoc procurement projects. Maintaining accurate purchasing data and supporting the Purchasing Manager.

What we're looking for:

At least 2 years' experience in a purchasing or procurement role. Strong negotiation, communication, and organisational skills. A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a positive attitude. Experience sourcing from the Far East (desirable). Willingness to travel (Far East/Europe) when required. Mandarin language skills (advantageous). Full UK driving licence. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
