An exciting opportunity to join a world-leading designer and manufacturer of specialized marine systems for the commercial ship, military ship and luxury yacht market sectors.

Immediate opening within Naiad Dynamics UK LTD. at our Southampton office reporting locally to the Site Manager. We are a dynamic team of professionals supplying our highly successful technology-based products worldwide. We are seeking a hands-on, organized, efficient, self-starter with an enthusiastic attitude.

Responsibilities

Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities. Maintain working relationships with key vendors/suppliers to ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Create and issue purchase orders. Update database with order details; dates, vendors, quantities, discounts. Track purchasing activity including order status to ensure timely delivery. Verify receiving paperwork against product. All other duties reasonably assigned by management.

Qualifications

Proven ability to professionally negotiate supplier arrangements. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers. Computer literate and efficient, Sage 200 would be beneficial, Microsoft Office applications, Excel and Word.

Self starter, ability to prioritize and work independently. Ability to professionally and effectively communicate and interact with vendors/suppliers and coworkers. Performance and poise while under pressure and when facing deadlines Highest ethical and professional standards Well organized and ability to multi-task
