Salary: 27,000 - 28,000 + Benefits!




Location: Hybrid working, home & BCA Blackbushe, twice a week onsite




Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30am-5.30pm, 40 hours

As a

Buyer Sundry Debt Advisor

at BCA, you will be integral to managing the collection and investigation of all Buyer-related sundry debt. This role focuses on handling Loss on Resale invoices and other sundry charges related to auction debt


Key Responsibilities




Sundry Debt Collection:

Engage with customers by phone and email to ensure timely collection and recovery of sundry debts.

Query Management & Investigation:

Manage and investigate Buyer disputes, ensuring thorough documentation and preparation for potential legal action.

Legal Action:

Prepare and submit legal packs for Buyers who have defaulted on payments and have no alternative recovery options.

Data Management & Analysis:

Maintain spreadsheets for detailed tracking and analysis of sundry debt to ensure accurate reporting.

Invoice Processing:

Understand and support sundry invoice processes, including Loss on Resale and administrative charges.

Auction Debt Knowledge:

Gain a comprehensive understanding of auction debt processes to resolve related issues effectively.

Target Achievement:

Meet performance targets designed to support business goals and customer satisfaction.

Product Knowledge & Development:

Participate in training programs to stay up to date on product knowledge and contribute to self-development.

Innovation & Improvement:

Contribute ideas to improve processes and enhance the customer experience.

Cross-Functional Support:

Collaborate with various departments to resolve Buyer queries fully.

Ad-Hoc Tasks:

Take on additional responsibilities as required to support the wider business.

Key Skills




Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel (essential), and Microsoft Outlook Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage queries and deal with challenging individuals or situations Strong negotiation skills and experience working with strict daily deadlines Organised with excellent time management Results-focused and driven Excellent written and oral communication skills Previous Credit Control or Collections experience is
