Role purpose:
We're looking for a proactive and experienced
Buyer
to source and deliver top-quality products in the perfect quantities, at the right time, and at the right price to boost profitability and create ranges that truly embody our brand purpose and delight our customers.
As part of a small but ambitious Product team, the Buyer will work hand-in-hand with colleagues in design and merchandising to make every penny count while crafting and curating irresistible, on-brand collections that capture our customers' hearts.
At the heart of this role is the ability to build strong, lasting relationships with our suppliers and agents, and to balance the creative excitement of product selection with data-driven insights that align with our business goals.

Product development & range building
Developing and refining product ranges that truly resonate with our customers, ensuring that each collection is aligned with emerging trends and customer preferences
Curating products that are both timely and impactful by leveraging historical sales data, market insights and intuition
Collaborating closely with the product team to deliver against the critical path and ensure that key milestones are consistently met.
Prototyping & product review
Ensuring the clear and effective communication of production instructions with our suppliers, ensuring that prototypes and samples meet design intent and production feasibility
Actively participating in prototype reviews and fit meetings to balance cost targets with the highest standards of quality, ensuring the final product achieves creative, brand and commercial goals
Applying your knowledge of fabrics, construction and finishing techniques to shape products that tick all the right boxes in style, quality, functionality and customer appeal.
Procurement & collaboration
Playing a pivotal role in negotiating with suppliers, managing pricing, volume discounts and logistics, all while maintaining our commitment to product excellence
Curating products that are both timely and impactful by leveraging historical sales data, market insights and intuition
Collaborating closely with the product team to deliver against the critical path and ensure that key milestones are consistently met.
Working alongside the merchandiser, ensuring that product selection is not only aligned with the overall business strategy but also delivered within budget and with optimal profitability.
Supplier management
Building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with our suppliers and agents as a cornerstone of your success
Negotiating effectively, managing contracts and continuously assessing supplier performance to ensure that we receive the best possible value without compromising on quality or delivery times
Using your experience to guiding our approach to sourcing across global markets, supporting our goals to strategically tap into diverse supplier bases and strengthen our supply chain.
Performance analysis & research
Working closely with our merchandisers to analyse both quantitative and qualitative data, identifying key trends, customer insights and competitor movements that will inform future buying decisions
Synthesising merchandising insights with a deep understanding of our customers to identify new product opportunities that align with their needs and our strategic objectives
Staying closely attuned to what our customers are buying and the brands/influencers they're following, ensuring we stay on top of emerging trends and preferences in womenswear to deliver the styles and products our customers are seeking
Collaborating within finance and merchandising to ensure that all costings are accurate and aligned with strategic goals, and managing the timely delivery and optimal distribution of products, ensuring they're ready for sale at the right time and in the right quantities.
