Buyers Admin Assistant

Buyer - Direct to Consumer
Responsible for:
Off Price Ladies & Menswear & Full Price Menswear
Key Objective:
Provide admin support & assistance to the Buyer and Assistant buyer across Ladieswear & Menswear, Outlet & Menswear for direct-to-consumer channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage live purchase orders through the product life cycle. Liaising with Buyer & Assistant Buyer's and Shipping department to ensure product is delivered according to critical path & DTC launch dates.
Ensuring delivery information is up to date and correct in all relevant systems and databases.
Support the team with relevant administrative task including, actioning any order amendments under the direction of the B&M team, & preparing & maintaining pack delivery documents to be distributing across multi departments.
Competitor comp shopping, building trend reports and sharing with design for new season development launch
Supporting weekly trade meetings through best seller reports.
Support the Buyer & Assistant Buyer with product developments across the main range and outlet departments, that is commercially driven and cost effective.
Support the Buyer with new season inhouse showings, including building the assortments & development of pack reports, and placing orders according to the critical path.
Support the stores with weekly best seller updates, Range Plains and Biannual Range Review events.
Sample Management
Maintaining the departments range and sample are always according to pack and grading.
Process new production samples received.
Communicating with wider team & cross functional departments for loaning of samples, ahead of photoshoots, influencers, campaigns
.
Preparing samples for meetings (Mock shop, Trade, general B&M meetings)
Skills & Qualifications
Ideally educated to degree or equivalent, in an academic or fashion subject.
Competent in working with IT systems (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Capable of working to tight deadlines, in a fast-paced environment.
Good understanding of the retail market, fashion trends and brand positioning.
Commercial
Have an awareness of retail & web best sellers, & a basic understanding of trade reports and trade decisions.
Have an awareness of competitor activity and feedback any suggestions to the management team accordingly.

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate competently and clear, both written and verbal.
Remain open minded and responsive to the views of others, demonstrating active listening skills and using appropriate language.
