Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing product placement, inventory levels, and visual presentation to maximize sales and profitability. This role requires a keen understanding of market trends, project management skills, and a focus on profit loss analysis. The Merchandiser will play a crucial role in product development, data visualization, category management, and optimizing business processes to drive success.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement merchandising strategies to drive sales and meet company objectives. Analyse market trends and consumer behaviour to make informed decisions on product assortment. Collaborate with retail-teams to ensure correct product/brands are purchased Manage inventory levels, pricing strategies, and promotions to optimize profitability. Conduct regular store visits to assess product placement, displays, and overall visual presentation. Work closely with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products to stores. Monitor competitor activities and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly. Implement category management principles to enhance product offerings. Set new products on stock management system and shopify. Support with range planning for retail stores and online ecommerce.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. Experience with Shopify will be beneficial Proven experience in merchandising or retail management. Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Proficiency in profit loss analysis and understanding of financial metrics. Experience in product development and working with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of category management principles and best practices. Understanding of logistics processes and supply chain management. Ability to optimize business processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
