Role Overview
Dibor is a premium British homeware and garden brand known for timeless design and quality craftsmanship. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Buying Assistant & Supply Chain Coordinator to support the buying function while ensuring smooth product flow from supplier to warehouse.
This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in buying, merchandising, or supply chain within an e-commerce retail environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesBuying Support
Support the Buyer with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks
Raise and manage purchase orders in line with range and stock plans
Maintain accurate product, pricing, and supplier data within internal systems
Support new product development by tracking samples, specifications, and approvals
Assist with range reviews, seasonal launches, and product setup
Supply Chain & Logistics
Manage order tracking from supplier confirmation through to delivery
Monitor production timelines, lead times, and shipment schedules
Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and warehouse teams
Resolve delivery issues, shortages, or delays efficiently
Support inbound logistics planning, including international shipments
Data & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of orders, costs, delivery dates, and stock intake
Support reporting on intake, availability, and supplier performance
Assist with stock reconciliation and issue resolution
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Buying, Merchandising, Operations, and Finance teams
Support product launches by ensuring timely stock availability
Communicate updates clearly to relevant stakeholders
Skills & ExperienceEssential
Previous experience in a Buying Assistant, Supply Chain, or administrative role (retail preferred)
Strong organisational and administrative skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Confident communicator with suppliers and internal teams
Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
Desirable
Experience in homeware, gifting, or lifestyle retail
Exposure to international sourcing and freight
Understanding of supply chain processes in e-commerce
