Job Description

Moon Workshop are looking for a Cabinet Maker/Furniture Maker to join the existing team of highly skilled furniture makers at the Moon workshop in Avonmouth.

Moon Workshop has made a huge contribution with over 300 completed residential and commercial projects in Bristol, Bath and Cheltenham. We have now expanded this service to other business clients throughout the South West. We cover a range of services from one-off bespoke pieces to full packages of furniture and fittings for interior fit outs.

Main Responsibilities:

Manufacture of bespoke kitchens, bedrooms and study furniture Manufacture of bespoke joinery items Manufacture of standard modular furniture All aspects of wood machining On site fitting of furniture Ensuring that workshop housekeeping and maintenance are kept to a high standard

Skills/Experience:

The ability to work as part of a team, ensuring project connectivity At least 1 years' experience working in a furniture/joinery related workshop At least 1 years' furniture fitting experience Basic knowledge of furniture construction methods Basic knowledge of all aspects of wood machining Some experience of joinery methods an advantage Must be well organised and disciplined within the workshop environment Must be self motivated with good initiative and be able to work under pressure Basic understanding of working drawings and installation requirements Willingness to be flexible and be a team player A full, clean driving licence would be an advantage
