As a Cabinet Maker at Mallace Bespoke, you'll be responsible for crafting and assembling bespoke furniture components, working with a range of materials, including exotic hardwoods and luxurious finishes. You'll utilize your expertise to create intricate designs, precision-cut joints, and fine finishes, ensuring every piece meets our exceptional quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft and assemble bespoke furniture components, including cabinets, drawers, and shelving units
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production
- Work with various materials, including exotic hardwoods, metals, and other premium materials
- Precision-cut joints and assemble components with attention to detail
- Apply fine finishes, including polishing, staining, and coating
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and other craftsmen to ensure seamless production
Requirements:
- Proven experience in cabinet making, with a strong portfolio
- Expertise in working with various materials, including exotic hardwoods
- Precision and attention to detail in craftsmanship
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Desirable Qualifications:
- City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 in Cabinet Making or equivalent
- Experience with traditional craftsmanship techniques, such as hand-cut joints
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software and CNC machinery
