The Role



The cabling manager will work in conjunction with the Town build Manager, to plan and execute the successful completion of cabling and survey projects across our working counties. Working with Both internal and external resource to ensure project completion is on time and within the CPPP budget.

You will be expected to manage the supervisors and teams within the cabling and survey function to ensure we are maximising output and efficiency. Supporting the business to achieve company targets through RFS and customer connections whilst maintaining high standards of workmanship and build compliance.



Key Responsibilities:



Including but not limited to:

Project Resource planning and collaboration. Contract management engaging with internal teams and external contractors. Maximise RFS output on projects. Create and manage work orders and Contractor work packages. Oversee and maintain KPI's across the departments and ensure targets are met. Forecast build completion Assess the requirements of assets and equipment. Regularly assess performance across teams



Requirements:



Managing multiple supervisors and teams. Knowledge of Survey requirements and reporting. Microsoft IT skills Planning and scheduling Traffic management knowledge Telecommunication civils requirements Knowledge of mapping software QGIS, Vetro, Vitruvi, K-Portal, Openreach Portal. SSSTS, SMSTS would be beneficial Street works accreditations Smart awards Qualifications (Network build based) SA001,SA002,SA007,SA008 knowledge would be advantageous.

Salary

: 48,000 - 52,000 per annum, depending on experience
