Job Overview

We are seeking a CAD / BIM Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing Building Information Models (BIM) to support various projects. This role requires proficiency in design software and a strong understanding of architectural and engineering principles.

Duties

Develop and maintain accurate 3D models using BIM software such as Solidworks and AutoCAD. Create detailed schematics and design documentation for various projects. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate designs and resolve any conflicts within the models. Conduct regular quality checks on models to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards. Assist in the preparation of project presentations and reports, showcasing design concepts and progress. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in BIM technology to enhance workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD and SolidWorks is essential. Experience with BIM software such as Revit is highly desirable. Strong understanding of technical schematics and civil engineering principles. Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Previous experience in a similar role or relevant educational background in architecture, engineering, or construction management is preferred.
