Job Title:

Project Design Coordinator with CAD/3D design experience

The Purpose:



As a Project Design Coordinator, you will oversee a project from start to finish. You will be overseeing design processes, ensuring seamless coordination between teams, and managing project deliverables.

Role Responsibilities



Oversee the design and development of dental clinics and treatment rooms from concept to completion using CAD & 3D Modelling for Dental Spaces. Maintain project timelines, budgets, and quality standards to optimise workflow efficiency. Develop and refine 2D CAD drawings and 3D models for dental practices, operatory layouts, and sterilisation areas. Ensure compliance with dental industry regulations, infection control standards, and accessibility guidelines. Convert concept sketches into detailed, functional dental clinic designs. Quality Assurance & Compliance Work closely with dental equipment suppliers, manufacturers, and contractors to ensure seamless execution of design plans. Coordinate with building control officers to ensure that dental practice designs meet structural, fire safety, and accessibility requirements. Procurement responsibilities, such as placing orders for equipment and materials Project scheduling of the electrical, plumbing, decorating, floor layers, cabinetry & equipment installation for single surgery projects to full practice fit-outs.

Candidate Profile


The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

Industry Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of experience within the dental industry is preferred. However, candidates with transferable skills in architecture, engineering, manufacturing, or construction industries, helping translate concepts into precise technical drawings and 3D models. Proficiency in CAD software Strong 3D modelling and visualisation skills Understanding of engineering and building principles Strong communication & teamwork skills Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities Time management to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks Ability to interpret and present technical information Creative thinking for innovative design solutions

Qualifications:



Degree/Diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field Experience in project coordination within design, construction, or manufacturing industries. Knowledge of project management methodologies. A full UK driving license and strong customer service skills are essential for this role.

Training:



Eclipse Dental Engineering offer internal and external training to improve on skills and knowledge for the whole team.

Location:



Rochester or within 30-minutes' drive
Salary:?35,000 - 45,000 (depending on experience)
