Job Description

We are recruiting both internally and externally for a 3D CAD Technician to work as part of the Sales Team based at our Deeside site. This role reports directly to the Engineering Manager.

Please note: As part of the role, you will be required to travel to our MR4 facility in Nantwich for one day per week.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual to join the business as we continue to expand.

You will be responsible for the creation and generation of bespoke drawings and renders of products to support sales requests for quotation. Experience is not necessary for this role as full training will be offered.

Main Purpose of Role

You will work on our CAD systems; SolidWorks to create the model drawings and Keyshot to create the real-life render. Experience/knowledge of these software systems is preferable but not crucial however, the ability to work/use computer systems is essential.

About You

Highly self-motivated

Able to work to deadlines

CAD skills preferred but not essential

PC literate

Quick to learn and develop into the role

Be able to communicate enthusiastically and are able to build positive relationships

Qualifications and Experience

A Level or HNC/Degree

Valid UK driving licence is required
