CAD Designer (Autodesk Inventor - Acoustic Products)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled

CAD Designer

with proven experience in using

Autodesk Inventor

to join our engineering and design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing detailed 3D models and technical drawings for the design and manufacture of acoustic louvres, enclosures and screen used in industrial and commercial applications.

This is a key role in supporting product development, project delivery, and production efficiency, contributing to high-performance acoustic solutions across the UK and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

Design and model acoustic louvres using

Autodesk Inventor

Produce accurate 2D fabrication drawings and full drawing packs Create and maintain

BOMs

(Bills of Materials) for manufacturing Work closely with engineers and production teams to ensure designs are fit for manufacture Support R&D and custom project work with creative, practical design input

Requirements

Proficient in

Autodesk Inventor

and 2D technical drawing Experience designing

acoustic louvres

or similar HVAC/ventilation components Strong understanding of sheet metal design and fabrication processes Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset Familiarity with other CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) is a bonus
