Job Overview
The role is to work within our existing long established core departments. Experience with 2D and 3D Solidworks software is essential. A high level of knowledge, acumen and design skills are required.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:
Produce accurately detailed fabrication drawings, modelling and calculations Work closely with Contracts Managers to lead projects through the design phase Have experience and strong understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes Attend site and design meetings Be commercially minded to analyse and deliver the most effective solutions Perform product development activities in accordance with agreed timescales and costs Create innovative solutions to complex design problems
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING:
High level of skill in 2D and 3D Solidworks Proven working design experience in the engineering/construction industry Steel fabrication drawing background is advantageous Understanding of manufacturing technologies, processes and installation procedures Proven experience of working to deadlines and working well under pressure
