JDC Scaffolding are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

CAD Designer

to join our team. The CAD Designer will be responsible for creating accurate and technically sound 2D and 3D drawings using the latest AutoCAD software. The candidate will collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to develop design solutions and ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications. Ideally have an understanding in the construction industry and knowledge in tube and fitting scaffolding. There will also be additional document control and administration tasks to be carried out.

Key Responsibilities:

Create, modify, and update 2D and 3D CAD drawings for scaffolding projects. Interpret design specifications, technical drawings, and project requirements. Collaborate with engineers and project stakeholders to resolve design challenges. Ability to carry out site surveys to gather information for design. Maintain organized and up-to-date drawing files and documentation. Ensure that all designs comply with applicable codes, regulations, and standards. Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback into updated designs. Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and construction drawings. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of design elements. Maintain proficiency in CAD software and stay updated with industry trends. Document control Administration tasks

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience as a CAD Designer. Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools. Strong understanding of design principles, materials, and manufacturing or construction/scaffolding processes. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork skills. Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
