Job Description

Full-time, qualified and experienced CAD Designer required for an established aluminium manufacturing, installation and service company based in Bromborough, Wirral. An excellent opportunity with great progression paths within our friendly and thriving Estimating and Design Department.

Accountabilities



1. Designs



a. Creating detailed designs and drawings using AutoCAD.

b. Basing designs and drawings on specifications provided by engineers and/or architects.

c. Revising and updating existing drawings to reflect design changes and modifications

d. Noting modifications completing the design tracker spreadsheet creating a timeline of the design process

e. Utilise and upkeep third party software, namely LogiKal and enhance data within

2. Communication



a. Receiving feedback from project managers/site contacts/clients.

b. Communicating with engineers and architects to develop new designs.

To undertake any other duties requested by the Line Manager, which are consistent with the overall purpose of the post.

Candidate Specification



2 year's experience (knowledge of our industry is essential)

Knowledge of LogiKal essential

Knowledge of TechDesign & Genesis desirable but not essential (training can be given)

Exceptional communication skills - written and oral.

Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.

Able to work efficiently to meet deadlines without compromising performance.

Ability to work independently and contribute to a team.
