Wayland Games Limited is looking for a CAD Digital Sculptor to work in the head office just outside of Brentwood in Essex. The successful candidate will have experience in a Creative Environment or hobby, plus previous success in achieving targets. Warcradle products are sold and played all around the world, so we must ensure that our quality standards stay high and our reputation is upheld. Summary of role



Warcradle Studios are looking to expand its miniature design and sculpting team with a creative and focused Digital Sculptor who is ready for the challenge of creating top-quality miniatures.

As CAD Digital Sculptor, you will work closely with the key members of our creative leadership team and be responsible for creating high-quality miniatures to help bring our designs to a finished product. The candidate will need to demonstrate their experience and skills with digital sculpting, Solidworks, Cimatron and AutoCad.

This full-time position offers the opportunity to be part of a creative games studio with exposure to not only the industry but also to other aspects of the development process as part of that team. The ideal candidate should display a high-level knowledge of the design process, refine designs and work as part of a team to achieve the right results.

Responsibilities and Duties



Collaborate with senior studio staff to create technically sound, engaging and memorable miniatures. Ensuring sculpting assets meet specifications provided by all relevant departments. Able to accurately follow common goals, putting the team first whilst being self-motivated and demonstrating initiative. Keep the artistic style & mood consistent with our defined visual style. Maintain quality level, efficiency and consistency across the sculpting team. Finalise miniature designs for manufacturing in resin, plastic injection moulding and MDF using Solidworks, Cimatron and AutoCad. To use their artistic skills to restore or redevelop damaged or third-party digital sculptures. Liaise with the Studio Manager and other studio staff to develop the designs so that they are optimised for production.

Qualifications and Skills



Significant experience with using 3D sculpting software such as Solidworks, Cimatron and AutoCad. Ability to interpret concepts supplied both visually and verbally and translate that into a digital 3-D. Familiarity with using 3-D printers to realise designs. Knowledge of creating components for plastic injection moulding. A proactive drive for efficiency in work methods & the maintenance of high standards. Excellent communication and collaborative problem-solving skills. Organisation and time management skills. Can work well in a Team or by themselves. Awareness and ability to work within Health and Safety protocols. A keen eye for detail.

Pay: 28,000.00-30,000.00 per year
