About the Role
Cosaf Environments Ltd, a leading name in the HVAC industry, is looking for a skilled and motivated CAD Technician or Engineer to join our Manchester team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for 3D CAD design who is also interested in taking on responsibility for managing small works and projects. You'll be involved in both office-based design and site-based activities, playing a key part in delivering innovative HVAC solutions.
What You'll Do
Produce and modify detailed 3D CAD drawings for HVAC systems, ensuring high standards of accuracy and coordination
Work closely with experienced engineers and technicians to understand project requirements and deliver effective design solutions
Take ownership of small works, managing these projects from coordination through to completion
Apply and develop your knowledge of industry standards and company procedures
Participate in ongoing training and workshops to further your CAD and HVAC expertise
Support the team with documentation, design file management, and administrative tasks
Attend site visits to carry out surveys and gain hands-on experience alongside senior engineers
Contribute to a collaborative team environment, sharing ideas and learning from industry experts
What We're Looking For
Proficiency in 3D CAD drawing (experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit is highly desirable)
Previous experience in the HVAC industry is an advantage, but not essential
Eagerness to take on responsibility for managing small works and projects
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within the company
Basic understanding of engineering principles, particularly relating to HVAC, is beneficial
