We have an opportunity for a

CAD Specialist I

to join us at Honeywell, in Poole, where you will be a key contributor to the design and development of cutting-edge mechanical solutions. Your strong knowledge of CAD software and design principles will ensure that the products developed under your guidance meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Your proficiency in CAD tools will enable you to effectively oversee the design process and ensure the delivery of innovative and high-performance mechanical solutions.



In this role, you will impact the design and development of high-quality and reliable products. Your insights and recommendations will help drive the company's strategic direction in mechanical design and development.



This role is 100% onsite at our Poole location.

Create and modify detailed CAD drawings and models Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure accurate and high quality designs Review and analyze engineering drawings and specifications Ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards Maintain CAD files and documentation

Experience in CAD design and engineering Expertise in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, design standards, and industry best practices Proven track record of successfully leading and managing CAD design projects Ability to mentor and develop junior CAD engineers Experience with advanced CAD techniques and tools Strong attention to detail and quality assurance mindset Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects
