We have an opportunity for a 2 CAD Technicians to join our team in Aberdeen



The role:




Carry out surveys and design of all HIP scenarios, kitchens, bathroom and heating etc. Review and implement any specification updates from client Review and upload drawings to client via Fast draft Communicate with client's architect and amend drawings as noted Manage the preparation, submission, and negotiation of Planning Applications Manage the preparation, submission, and negotiation of Building Warrant Applications Co-ordinate External Consultants to support Statutory Approval Applications DNO applications Support Site Staff through the Construction Phase to address and resolve issues identified Carry out periodic Site inspections to ensure design intention is being achieved Attend and input into Development / Construction Progress Meetings Assist in the principles of building energy performance / sustainability for OH products Manage Non-Standard Client Extras through preparation of construction information Develop professional experience through CPD attendance Maintain working knowledge of latest Technical / Planning / Warranty Standards (Scotland) Maintaining records and filing in line with required working procedures

What we're looking for:




HND / Degree Qualified in an Architectural discipline Preference for Membership of a relevant professional institution Skilled in the use of AutoCAD / Revit Working knowledge of basic IT packages (Word, Excel etc) Sound knowledge of the construction process Ability to plan, co-ordinate, and organise effectively to achieve key targets Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal Ability to work as a team and on own initiative Willingness to continue professional growth through CPD / experience Lateral thinker with determination and confidence to problem solve Flexibility High working standards - self-discipline to set, maintain, and be professional in all aspects
