Overview

We are an industrial Door and Window manufacturer with a wide range of expanding products with the ability for bespoke diverse products as required by our customers with this we are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of computer-aided design (CAD) software with inventor knowledge and will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and schematics that support various projects. This role requires a blend of creativity and technical expertise to ensure designs meet both functional and aesthetic requirements. Also programming for Radan for machine use.

Duties

Develop detailed CAD drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Inventor. Radan Create and modify schematics for various engineering projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and deliver designs that meet specifications. Assist in the build process by providing necessary documentation and support to construction teams. Maintain an organised library of CAD files, ensuring easy access for team members. Participate in design reviews, offering insights and recommendations for improvements.

Experience

Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Inventor and Radan Previous experience in a similar role or relevant field is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across various disciplines. A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
