Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of drafting principles and be proficient in various CAD software. This role involves creating detailed drawings and schematics that support our engineering and design projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed CAD drawings using software such as AutoCAD. Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and specifications. Create 3D models using tools like SolidWorks, Sketchup, and Civil 3D as required. Review and revise designs based on feedback from team members or clients. Ensure all drawings are compliant with industry standards and regulations. Maintain an organised library of drawings and documentation for easy retrieval. Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including reports and presentations. Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions.

Requirements

Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, NavisWorks, SolidWorks, and MicroStation. Strong understanding of drafting principles and techniques. Ability to create accurate schematics and technical drawings. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
