Job Description

Powell & Co Construction is a leading UK manufacturer and erector of commercial poultry housing, agricultural buildings and industrial steelwork. Due to an increase in contracts, we are expanding our technical design team. We're looking for an experienced cad operator to work at our Head Office in Shirlheath, Kingsland.

The successful candidate may have a background working within the roofing and cladding sector. It is essential that you have a strong proficiency in AutoCAD:

- Minimum of 2 years' experience of using AutoCAD, preferably in the construction sector. 3D experience would be beneficial, particularly with Advance Steel or Tekla.

- Ability to produce General Arrangement and Fabrication drawings.

- Be able to read and interpret drawings.

- Be able to manipulate and edit drawings.

- Team player with good communication skills.

- Focused on accuracy, efficiency and attention to detail.

Salary: dependent upon experience.
Holidays: 20 (to start) plus bank holidays.
