We are actively seeking a

CAD Technician

to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and modifying technical drawings using

CAD software

, assisting in the design and development of

mechanical engineering projects

Key Responsibilities:



Produce high-quality, detailed 2D & 3D CAD models and technical drawings for client approval, manufacturing, installation, and as-built documentation. Interpret technical specifications, customer-supplied drawings, and sketches to develop accurate designs. Collaborate closely with tradespersons, engineers, and clients to ensure drawings align with project requirements. Produce and maintain all project-related technical documentation. Conduct site surveys and accurately translate findings into technical models and drawings. Review and check drawings for accuracy, ensuring compliance with client requirements, industry standards, and specifications.

Person Requirements:



Proven experience as a CAD Technician in a mechanical engineering, fabrication, or machining environment. Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to tight deadlines and last-minute updates. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of working across all levels of the business. Committed to company policies, including SHEQ systems (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality).
