CAD/CAM Programmer

Haldane (UK) Ltd are looking to recruit a CAD/CAM Programmer



Haldane (UK) Ltd are a Fife-based company that has been manufacturing for over 100 years as a specialist wood machining company, delivering quality design and manufacturing solutions with our 5-axis CNC machinery that has the capability to manufacture handrails in whatever shape. Our Company values creativity, precision, and a collaborative work environment. We are currently looking for a skilled CAD/CAM Programmer.



We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and self-motivated person to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the team.



You will work across a range of projects including contemporary staircases, bespoke handrails ranging from private homes to large public & private buildings, we also take on various restoration projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Create efficient CAM programs to support CNC machining processes Collaborate closely with the design and production teams to ensure seamless project execution Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to CNC operations Maintain and update business systems, files and documentation Designing & creating CAM programs for projects on a laser cutter Creating material preparation sheets for production

Requirements:

Proven experience as a 3D CAD/CAM Programmer Proficiency in CAM software Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and programming Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
