Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled CAD/Revit Technician to join our design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and schematics for construction and engineering projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise a range of CAD software and contribute to innovative infrastructure developments. The ideal applicant will have a strong background in drafting, with experience in mechanical design in the Building Services industry, and a keen eye for accuracy and detail.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit. Produce schematics, plans, sections, and elevations aligned with project specifications. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design concepts into technical drawings. Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards, codes, and client requirements. Revise drawings based on feedback and updates during project development phases. Maintain organised digital files of all drawings and related documentation. Assist in the preparation of construction documents and specifications. Support the team in reviewing design proposals for accuracy and feasibility.

Skills

Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD and/or Revit Strong understanding of construction processes and technical schematics. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce precise technical drawings. Good organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Ability to interpret architectural and engineering plans accurately. Salary dependent on experience.
