We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cafe Assistant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our cafe. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The Cafe Manager will be responsible for supervising staff, managing food preparation, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Duties



Oversee cafe staff, ensuring they adhere to food safety regulations and service standards. Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in the cafe. Assist in food preparation and cooking as needed, ensuring all dishes meet our culinary standards. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and effective communication among staff. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for complete satisfaction.

Requirements



Proven experience in a restaurant or cafe management role is essential. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team. Experience in bartending is advantageous but not mandatory. Proficient in food preparation techniques with a background in culinary arts preferred. Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of cafe operations. A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding customer service is crucial.
