Responsibilities
Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards.
Assist with catering services for events, ensuring all requirements are met with attention to detail.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including tables, counters, and equipment.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales as required.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or cafe environment is essential.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and catering services is essential.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented setting.
A keen eye for detail, particularly regarding food safety practices.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Two references from previous employers of the same kind are essential.
