Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cafe/ Bar Assistant to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks Assist with the preparation of food as required Maintain cleanliness of the cafe area, including tables, counters, and equipment Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the till system Restock supplies and ensure all stock levels are maintained throughout the shift Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers Provide excellent customer service by addressing enquiries promptly and courteously

Qualifications

Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is desirable but not essential Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanour Organised with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment Basic numeracy skills for handling cash transactions Ability to work well as part of a team and independently when required Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends if necessary A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills Minimum age of 18 years old, as we are a licensed premises
