Job offer available: waitress/barista role

REQUIREMENTS

18+ Available at least every weekend each month with 1 weekend given off.
Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks

- Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service

- Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines and grinders

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area

- Follow recipes and ensure consistency in beverage preparation

- Handle card and cash transactions and maintain accurate cash register records

- Assist with food preparation and basic kitchen tasks as needed in the kitchen

Experience

- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting preferred

- Has 1+year coffee barista experience in a coffee shop

- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods is a plus

- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices

- Excellent guest service skills with the ability to engage customers in a friendly manner

- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing

- Good at working under pressure and in fast-paced environments

We can get very busy, therefore we need someone who can work quickly and efficiently and handle working under pressure.

Please note that this position may require standing for long periods of time and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Flexibility is important and ability to work weekends either mornings or evenings is essential. Bank Holiday working is also required.
