We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cafe Manager to oversee the daily operations of our cafe. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts, demonstrating exceptional team management and supervisory skills. As the Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring high standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

Supervise and manage cafe staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Oversee food preparation and presentation, ensuring adherence to culinary standards. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with food safety regulations. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock. Develop and implement training programmes for new staff members on food safety, hospitality, and customer service. Create staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage during peak hours. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring a positive dining experience. Collaborate with the team to develop new menu items that reflect current trends and customer preferences.

Requirements

Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong skills in team management and supervising staff effectively. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Bartending experience is advantageous but not essential. A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for customers.
