We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Cafe Manager to oversee the daily operations of our cafe. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food safety standards are met, and creating a welcoming environment for our guests.

Duties

Supervise and lead a team of cafe staff, fostering a positive and productive work atmosphere. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure high-quality dishes are served consistently. Manage inventory and food production, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and available for menu items. Implement and maintain food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations. Train new employees in kitchen operations, serving techniques, and customer service standards. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency. Collaborate with the team to develop new menu items that reflect current trends and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe environment, including kitchen areas and dining spaces.

Skills

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or cafe setting. Strong culinary skills with a background in food preparation and cooking techniques. Excellent team management abilities, with a focus on leadership and motivation. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Experience in hospitality, ensuring an exceptional guest experience at all times. Previous kitchen experience is essential; barista experience is an advantage. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour
