Responsibilities

Manage daily cafe operations, including opening and closing procedures Supervise and motivate staff, ensuring effective team management and excellent customer service Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining quality standards Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards Coordinate food production, including ordering supplies and managing inventory levels Assist in training staff on food safety, service protocols, and kitchen procedures Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally Organise staff rotas to optimise coverage during peak hours Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of ingredients and equipment

Experience

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management Experience in food safety compliance and food production processes Knowledge of hospitality operations, including serving and barista skills are desirable Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team management and staff development Previous experience working in a cafe or restaurant environment is essential Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry standards is advantageous
