We're looking for an enthusiastic and confident Manager to lead our friendly team in a fast-paced, vibrant environment. We want a candidate with a pro-active, organised and positive attitude to providing outstanding customer service, maintaining hygiene, safety and compliance standards and ability to coach upselling to our cafe team.
In this role you will also have meetings with management to discuss financial goals, hygiene compliance, staffing, menu items, you will also be responsible for training new team members and existing members. We expect you to lead by example.
Your role as team leader:
- Training new hires on food menus, tills, drink preparation
- Assessing new hires on their performance
- Ensuring food compliance and safety forms are completed daily and ensuring cleaning schedules are followed
- Being in a customer facing role - barista/ kitchen
- Opening and closing the cafe
- Following checklists exactly
- Ensuring targets/ goals are met
- Meeting with the manager to discuss: new hires/ current staff/ goals/ ideas to boost sales
- Delivering top-up training to existing staff
- Customer service - dealing with complaints/ issues/ taking feedback
- Reliability is essential
- Ability to multi-task and be competent in all areas of operations in the cafe
- Completing stocklists and submitting on time
