As the Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our cafe runs smoothly, providing exceptional service to our customers while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Duties
Supervise and manage cafe staff, fostering a positive team environment.
Oversee food production and preparation, ensuring adherence to quality standards and food safety regulations.
Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Train and mentor staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service skills.
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure efficient operations.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for complete satisfaction.
Collaborate with other departments within the hotel or restaurant to enhance overall guest experience.
Experience
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a cafe, restaurant, or hotel environment is essential.
Strong background in culinary arts or food production is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability in team management and staff development.
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food preparation is required.
