Cafe Supervisor
Salary: 25,061.40 - 27,846 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 3:30pm

Seashell Trust is a national charity based in Cheadle Hulme, supporting children and young people with complex learning difficulties, physical disabilities, and communication needs. We provide education, care, therapy, and outreach services and are currently undergoing an exciting campus transformation, including a new college build.
As Cafe Supervisor, you'll lead the day-to-day running of our brand new cafe, creating a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You'll manage food safety, hygiene, and customer service standards, oversee menu planning, stock control, and staff rotas, and support students in work experience opportunities while promoting healthy eating and sustainability.
As a Cafe Supervisor, you'll:
Supervise daily cafe operations, including food preparation and stock control
Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health & safety, and allergen regulations
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a welcoming environment
Manage ordering, deliveries, and budgets in line with sustainability goals
Plan menus promoting healthy eating and allergen awareness
Support colleagues and students engaged in work experience
Maintain accurate records for audits and inspections
What We're Looking For:
Level 2 in Food Safety
Experience in catering or hospitality management
Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety standards
Strong organisational and leadership skills
Ability to manage budgets and stock effectively
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting inclusivity
Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office)
