Cafe Team Member - Food Focus -

Tiny Tribe is a new, family-focused play cafe designed for babies, toddlers and their grown-ups. We're looking for a friendly, reliable Cafe Team Member whose primary focus will be food preparation, while still being comfortable supporting front-of-house service and engaging with customers.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys preparing food, keeping things organised, and taking ownership of a kitchen area - but who also likes being part of a welcoming, customer-facing cafe environment.

The Role

Your main responsibility will be preparing and plating our light cafe menu, including:

Breakfast bagels Paninis and pizza rolls Children's plates and snacks
Alongside this, you'll also:

Run food to tables and support front-of-house when needed Engage warmly with families and children Help reset and clean the space between play sessions Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety and organisation Work collaboratively with barista and front-of-house team members
This is a hands-on, varied role in a small, supportive team.

The Person We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

Enjoys food preparation and takes pride in presentation Is confident, calm and friendly with customers and families Is happy to be customer-facing as part of their role Is organised, proactive and reliable Works well as part of a team Is comfortable pitching in across different areas when needed
Experience in cafes, catering, sandwich shops, bakeries or similar environments is ideal, but not essential if you have the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Food hygiene training is a bonus (or willingness to complete).

Hours & Contract

Part-time or full-time considered Weekday availability particularly welcome Weekend availability a plus
Hours and rota will be discussed based on availability and experience.

Pay & Progression

Pay starts at National Living Wage As a new business, there are real opportunities to grow with Tiny Tribe and take on more responsibility over time
