In this role, you will be the face of our cafe, providing exceptional customer service while assisting in food preparation and maintaining a welcoming environment. You will play a crucial part in ensuring our customers enjoy their experience and feel welcomed by us at all times.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. Prepare food items in accordance with our menu standards, ensuring high quality and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, including kitchen areas and dining spaces. Adhere to food safety regulations to ensure the health and safety of our customers. Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Handle transactions accurately and responsibly. Consistent shifts and competitive pay based on experience

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or cafe setting is preferred. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders. Familiarity with kitchen operations and food preparation techniques is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety practices is beneficial. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A passion for food, people and a willingness to learn new skills are highly valued.
We are ideally looking for some hospitality experience but full training will be given. We are looking for team members that are confident, friendly and outgoing with a positive pro-active attitude.

The cafe is very busy and we are looking for a person who loves to be with people and food. We can train you on all of our systems but you have to want to be in the hospitality industry.

You will need to be a self-motivated and cheerful as our cafe is often very busy and fast-paced. If you enjoy people and are looking to develop a career in a fast growing and expanding brand and understand what good customer service is then we'd love to hear from you.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 11.50-12.50 per hour
