Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of food items in accordance with established recipes and quality standards Serve customers efficiently and courteously at the counter or table Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment Handle cash register operations, including basic maths for transactions and giving change Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and maximise sales opportunities Follow all food safety regulations and hygiene practices diligently Assist in stock replenishment and inventory management as needed Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods Support in setting up and clearing tables, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or cafe setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards is advantageous Experience in serving customers with professionalism and friendliness is preferred Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately are necessary Kitchen or culinary experience will be considered a plus Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
