Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting menu items
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Deliver orders to tables in a timely manner
- Provide excellent guest service and address any customer inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals
- Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the dining area
Skills
- Experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is essential
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic maths skills for processing orders and handling payments
- Knowledge of culinary terms and food preparation techniques is advantageous
- Excellent guest services skills with a friendly and approachable attitude
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, especially with kitchen staff
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 18 per week
