We are looking for new Weekend Cafe Assistants to join our fantastic team

Old School Cafe is an independent cafe established 70 years ago in Longcross, Chertsey. We sell our own brand of coffee roasted locally for us by Surrey Hills Coffee and are passionate about the taste and quality. We are also famous in the local area for our classic English fry-ups, lunches, and sandwiches.

The ideal candidate is:

A friendly team player with great interpersonal and communication skills Eager to push themselves to deliver top class customer service Able to work quickly, calmly, and efficiently during busy periods Self-motivated to seek out tasks and uphold a clean cafe environment

Primary responsibilities:

Work as part of a close knit team to ensure customers receive a great experience Produce fantastic coffees, smoothies, milkshakes, and soft drink orders Carry out basic kitchen preparation tasks and take meals to customers Maintain and clean cafe equipment

This position is available to candidates who are available to work at least one regular day every weekend, other shifts may also be available subject to application Our standard working hours are 8.30 am to 3.30 pm on weekends and 7.30 am to 3.30 pm on weekdays with a 30 minute break You must have your own car or access to regular and reliable lifts as no public transport is available
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour
