Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cafe Assistant/ Cleaner to join our Leisure Centre team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for serving in the cafe and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy and presentable. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces. Serving tea, coffee and light snacks Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure high standards of cleanliness. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the relevant personnel. Interact with clients and staff in a professional manner, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain consistency in service delivery. Maintain an organised approach to work, ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently.

Qualifications

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
