Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation, ensuring all items are prepared according to safety and quality standards. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, including dining areas, kitchen, and storage spaces. Support bartending duties as needed, including mixing beverages and serving drinks responsibly. Adhere to food safety regulations and best practices to ensure a safe dining experience for all patrons. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods, including catering events if required. Handle cash transactions accurately and assist with inventory management as necessary.

Experience

Previous experience in a cafe, restaurant, or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety standards is advantageous. Experience in bartending or catering is a plus, showcasing versatility within the role. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A positive attitude and willingness to help others in a dynamic setting will be highly valued.
