We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Assistant to join our vibrant team. Duties

Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items, ensuring quality and freshness. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, including dining areas, kitchen, and storage spaces. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all customers. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly service at all times. Handle cash transactions and assist with basic maths for order processing. Support team members by helping with various tasks as needed during busy periods. Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.

Skills

Basic maths skills for handling transactions and order calculations. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. Strong time management skills to effectively prioritise tasks during peak hours. A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to the team environment.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: From 12.50 per hour
